List of Pharmacy Schools in the United States

The United States is home to a number of pharmacy schools. To become a licensed pharmacist, you must enroll in a school that will equip you with the knowledge to succeed in a changing health care industry. A bachelor's degree is not the only requirement; you must pass the licensing exam and earn a pharmacist's license to be able to practice legally.

    University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy

    • The University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy, ranked 29th among pharmacy graduate schools by "U.S. News," provides a network of faculty, curriculum, materials and research that exposes undergraduate and graduate students to challenging situations that hone their skills and knowledge of pharmacy.     University of Illinois College of Pharmacy

    • The University of Illinois College of Pharmacy, established in 1859, is home to undergraduates, graduate students, residents and fellows, providing five doctoral degrees and various programs for continuing students. The college, ranked ninth among pharmacy graduate schools by "U.S. News," has research institutes that seek innovations in the field. An extension at the Rockford campus makes the College of Pharmacy accessible to researchers in rural areas of Illinois.
