The Media Make Up Artist Training School offers a variety of classes in makeup application, from personal application interests to professional career courses. Each of the school's courses is accredited by the Guild for Professional Beauty Therapists and taught by professional makeup artists. The school offers a Diploma in Make-Up Artistry that encompasses a foundation, intermediate and advanced certificate in makeup artistry. Students will learn day, evening, special occasion, bridal and fashion makeup applications as well as techniques involved in contouring, highlighting and false eyelashes. All necessary materials are provided for the courses and a number of models are used to practice on a variety of skin types and facial shapes. Students produce a diverse professional portfolio with more than 175 images throughout the program.

The London School of Beauty & Make-up has courses in makeup application that range in length from two days to 11 months. The Foundation Make-up Course is a 10-week program conducted once a week that provides students with basic skills for personal and special occasion makeup. The course introduces skin analysis, face shape recognition, concealer and foundation use, eye makeup application and many more fundamentals. The eight-week IMA Makeup Diploma is offered full-time and teaches students makeup fundamentals, fashion photographic makeup, techniques for catwalk, television and film, airbrushing and special effects makeup. No prior experience is necessary for the courses and programs at the London School of Beauty & Make-up and international students are welcome.
