    St. Olaf

    • An educationally rigorous college founded in a tradition of the Lutheran faith, all religions and people are also welcome at this four-year residential college.The college specializes in providing a rounded Liberal Arts Education with a global perspective, and also offers other programs of study, including internationally-recognized mathematics and music programs. St. Olaf College also offers and encourages study-abroad programs in 46 different countries.     South Central

    • This community and technical college is located in Faribault, Minnesota, a 20-minute drive from Northfield. Perfect for commuter students and those training for a vocation or trade, it offers degrees or diplomas in Agriculture, Arts and Communications, Business, Engineering, Health Science, and Human Services. Most students finish school in two years. South Central does not offer student housing, though it does offer entire programs online and has a lower tuition than many four-year universities for the same number of credits. And, in an effort to maintain a school community, there are also of recognized student clubs and organizations, including a Student Senate and a Forensics Club.
