Southern Oregon Colleges

Southern Oregon consists of the part of Oregon from the California border north to the Umpqua River. The area consists of mountain regions, valleys, lakes and arid deserts. Students wishing to pursue a higher education can choose from community colleges, Southern Oregon University and the Oregon Institute of Technology. Most of the community colleges offer transfer programs that, upon completion, allow students to transfer to any college in the Oregon University system and to many colleges and universities nationwide.
