The Pontifical College Josephinum is a Roman Catholic seminary that provides degrees for men who wish to become priests in the Catholic Church. Students complete a baccalaureate degree program through the school's liberal arts college, majoring in philosophy, literature, Spanish and Hispanic studies, history or classical studies. After completing the four-year bachelor's program or a similar program at another Catholic seminary, students can apply for admission to the theology program, which grants the Master of Divinity degree necessary to become an ordained priest. The college also offers a pre-theology program for students who have a bachelor's degree from a secular college. This course of study allows students to complete the necessary courses for admission to the master's program without having completing another degree.
