Eureka College is a private, liberal arts college located in Eureka, Illinois --- approximately 20 miles outside of Peoria. The college is affiliated with the Christian Church or Disciples of Christ. Students do not need to be Christian to attend the school --- the college's website proclaims that students of all faiths are welcome. Eureka offers more than 30 majors, including pre-professional studies. In addition to regular coursework, student participation in service-based courses is required. The college offers almost 40 majors to students which are taught, as the website states, with a Christian worldview. The college is dedicated to working in the Reformed tradition. Trinity Christian College does not discriminate based upon ethnic or cultural boundaries, but does desire students that believe in the "Biblical requirements of justice, humility and love."
Blackburn College is an independent, four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian church. It is located in Carlinville, about 70 miles outside of St. Louis, Missouri. The school offers around 40 majors to students. Students do not need to be of the Presbyterian faith to apply. Resident students at Blackburn College are required to participate in a work program that offers a tuition credit and provides valuable on-campus services.
