Ontario Universities That Accept Advanced Placement

Since 1955 the Advanced Placement (AP) program has streamlined the transition of students from the high school system into Canadian universities. The program helps prospective students prepare for their academic careers by allowing them to earn exemptions from entry-level courses for degrees while still in high school. An AP test must be administered to potential students to determine their competency level in a particular entry-level university course; tests are taken in May of the final year of high school. The grades range from 1 (Not Qualified) to 5 (Extremely Qualified).
