If you are trying to transfer DETC credits to a college or university, and you get a "no," be persistent. According to the Distance Education and Training Council, if you attempt to transfer the DETC credits and the institution rejects them, state your case and present information to the school administration. Acceptance of the DETC or credits is different in each school. For instance, if you have a good grade in a course and you researched the content of the course at the transfer university and it coincides with your DETC course, the university may reconsider its decision.
