Agriculture is a vast area of study requiring students to understand concepts of biology, chemistry and management as they apply to livestock and plant cultivation. Students can find the majority of universities offering agriculture programs in the Midwest; however, every state has both public and private institutions offering associate, undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of agriculture disciplines.

    University of Wyoming

    • Within the area of agriculture studies, the University of Wyoming offers agricultural business, agricultural communications, agricultural economics and agricultural education. Degree programs are under the guidance of the Department of Agriculture and Applied Economics. The Bachelor of Science program has three options including agribusiness management, farm and ranch management and international agriculture.
