In-state tuition rates are available for all residents of Colorado or active duty military students who are stationed in Colorado.
With locations all around the city, the Metropolitan State College of Denver offers students varied campus selections and courses of study toward undergraduate and master's degrees. The average class size is 19, and students can study criminal justice, art, English, human performance and sport, history, biology, management and a host of other courses. Metro State strives to attain a student body that is made up of people of minority races, and prefers to enroll people who do not fit the typical college student age, ethnic background or socioeconomic status. Metro State receives $95 million each year for scholarships, grants, loans and work-study programs. Fifteen credit hours costs about $2,000 per semester for in-state students.
