Request an admissions application from the Office of Student Services either by calling the main campus at 251-578-1313, the Atmore Campus by calling 251-368-449 or by visiting either campus in person. Fill out all required information, such as your personal information and education history. Fill out the attached Alabama College System Certification of Eligibility for In-State Residency if you are applying as an in-state resident for tuition purposes.
Request your high school transcript and any previous college transcripts if applicable. Fill out the transcript release form that comes with the application. Some schools may charge a fee for transcript requests. Hand in the admissions application along with all transcripts to the college in person or through the mail to:

Contact the school and ask to speak to the director of financial aid to make an appointment to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you need financial aid. Alternatively, you can visit the official FAFSA website (see Resources) and fill out a FAFSA online.
Take the placement tests, if required. After you submit your application, you will receive an acceptance or denial letter in the mail. If accepted, you may be required to take the COMPASS placement exam at the main Reid State Technical College campus. Qualifications for exemption from the test are listed on the school's web site. Call the college and ask to speak to the testing coordinator to find out the testing schedule.
