How to Change Community Colleges

You may find yourself in a situation where your current community college does not provide the classes or programs that you need, your desired university does not accept credits from your community college or you are simply relocating and need to transfer your education to another institution. Changing community colleges requires basic preparation and is a relatively easy and smooth process.

Await the results of your admission application. Once approved, you will need to meet with an adviser prior to registering for classes. If travel is an issue, you may be able to complete this meeting over the phone.
