You must have a high school diploma or GED to attend Everest. The school does not prefer one over the other and does not require a certain GPA in order to enroll. You are only required to have a passing score for your GED test.
You do not have to complete any standardized testing like the SAT or ACT but the school does administer the Career Placement Assessment test. This test provides information on your strengths, abilities, interests and talents. It is not a test that determines if you will be allowed admission but is a test that shows which program or programs would be best suited for you. To enroll in Everest Community College a personal interview with an Admissions Representative is also required.
Everest may accept your transfer credits from another college depending on what credits you are seeking to transfer. An admissions counselor will be able to assist you with your credit transferability.
Everest does not require any type of previous training or on the job training prior to enrollment. The school may accept on the job training as credit towards your degree depending on the type of training received. An admissions counselor will be able to provide you with more information on the ability to use job training for credit.
