Prestigious Christian Colleges

Christian studies programs are rare in public universities, but they are available in many highly ranked private universities. For a student who wishes to go into ministry work, a Christ-centered university is highly desirable. Several Christian universities have been ranked with non-faith-based universities by Forbes Magazine and US News. Ultimately, the school you choose should have a firm basis in the aspect of ministry you are interested in.
  1. Differentiating Between College Options

    • There are many kinds of Christian and Bible colleges available across the United States. When choosing between colleges in your area, it is a good idea to obtain a complete list of available faith-based schools.

Begin screening the schools with your requirements in mind. Look at the mission statement to be sure it is in line with Biblical concepts. Compare student satisfaction rates for that school. Think about the type of credentials you wish to obtain. If you are going into private ministry, you want to be sure the values and methods will complement the people you wish to reach.

If you plan to seek outside employment within a particular field, look into the post-graduate employment statistics for that college or university.
