The Los Rios Community College District consists of four interconnected two-year campuses. American River College in Sacramento welcomes new and returning students with academic support and enrollment services, a career center, helpful resources for veterans and disabled students and three branch campuses within the Sacramento area. City College of San Francisco was founded in 1935 and operates ten campuses throughout the bay area today that provide continuing education to over 100,000 students per year. Two educational-access television channels, two college newspapers and KCSF student-run radio station set this school apart from other community colleges. DeAnza also has a wide range of transfer programs available.
San Joaquin College in Stockton, California offers flexible scheduling with day, evening, weekend and online classes available to help students achieve trade-specific certificates or Associate of Science or Arts degrees. Areas of study include agriculture, science, mathematics, business and technology, arts and communication, humanities and education.
