But there are also film schools at the California State Universities at Los Angeles, Fullerton, Long Beach and Northridge. The Academy of Art University in San Francisco's School of Motion Pictures and Television offers associate, bachelor's and master's degrees. Loyola Marymount University's School of Film and Television offers undergraduate degrees in animation, film and television production, recording arts, screenwriting and film and television studies. LMU offers graduate programs for film and television production, feature film screenwriting and writing and producing television.
Among the film schools in Florida are Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts, the University of Miami's School of Communication Motion Pictures program and University of Central Florida. Florida State and Miami offer several motion picture production undergraduate and graduate programs. Central Florida offers production and films studies undergraduate and graduate programs.
Northwestern University's School of Communication has a Radio, Film and Television Division that offers undergraduate degrees in each discipline and a master's in writing for stage and screen, and master's and doctorate degrees in screen cultures studies. In addition to digital cinema, animation, computer graphics and interactive media, DePaul University's School of Cinema and Interactive Media offers degrees in game development. The University of Colorado at Boulder also has a film studies program.
Columbia University School of the Arts' Film Division offers undergraduate programs and a masters of fine arts in screenwriting, directing and creative producing. Boston University College of Communication's Department of Film and Television offers graduate and undergraduate programs. American University's School of Communications has a film and media arts department that has alumni mentoring programs involving the Discovery and National Geographic channels and internships in Los Angeles.
