Universities Offering Technical Writing Degrees

Universities across the United States offer degree programs in technical writing or technical communication. Students enrolled in these programs should expect to take courses in English literature, journalism, editing, computer science and documentation standards. Technical writers communicate about computer software, medical procedures, and engineering specifications, and develop easy-to-understand user manuals.
