How to Insert an Anchor in CMS

A Content Management System (CMS) is designed to allow a company or institution to manage internal information and documents. Inserting an anchor link helps to bring the reference material together for quicker usage and understanding. The CMS system provides steps for inserting anchors into the documents without too much trouble. You can insert your own anchors in the system in just a few minutes.

      Determine what text you want to use as an anchor link in the CMS.

      Place the cursor at the spot in the page where the anchor link will jump to and choose the "Insert/Edit link" button and wait for the window to open.

      Choose an anchor name and type the name into the "Anchor Name" box. Click "Insert" to add the name. Always use different names for multiple anchors on the same page.

      Wait for the anchor icon to appear and choose the text in the page you want to use as the anchor link. Select "Insert/Edit link" and wait for the window to open.

      Choose the "Internal" tab and select "Insert" to activate the anchor link.
