How to Cite a Database in a Work-Cited Page

Electronic databases provide Internet access to scholarly journal articles. If you use an article from a database for your term paper, you must list that article in a works cited page at the end of your paper. Both the Modern Language Association, or MLA, and the American Psychological Association, or APA, set guidelines for the correct citation of materials from online databases. The exact format your citation should take depends on which citation style you are adhering to.
