Grants From or for a Foster Child

There are many federal, state and private grant programs for foster children. Many of these grants are specifically to achieve vocational training and undergraduate education. Some grants support programs that provide aid to foster children and their families. There are also a few programs that provide funding for foster children that are gaining their independence, as many foster children have difficulty making lasting community connections. While most grants are specifically for foster children there are some grants from individuals that were once foster children and want to help other foster children, so some grants are from foster children to other foster children.
