Grants for Former Foster Youth

Imagine being 18 and having no place to go because you are no longer a ward of the court. The foster care system does not generally equip former foster youth for the transition from foster care to independence. Current and former foster youth face immense challenges becoming self-sufficient, much less attending college or job training. Some state programs address the financial needs of former foster youth, yet more needs to be done.
