Fill out the application. It is important that the student make sure they meet all the requirements listed for a particular scholarship. Certain scholarships require a specific GPA, residency, involvement in Native American activities or pursuing a specific degree.
Provide documentation of Native American heritage. Native American scholarships require proof of ethnicity and tribe membership. A birth certificate, photograph and tribal ID number are all accepted forms of proof depending on the scholarship.
