How to Get a Full Academic Scholarship at Carson-Newman

Carson-Newman is a small, Christian liberal arts college in Tennessee recently ranked as one of the best colleges in the South by U.S. News and World Report. While the school offers students some sort of financial aid and partial scholarships, most of these awards don't cover the entire cost of tuition. However, the honors program offers full academic scholarships to select high school seniors. These seniors compete for these full-tuition scholarships during "Honors Weekend" that is "...typically held on the first Friday and Saturday of February each year" states the Carson-Newman website. Carson-Newman offers at least one Presidential Fellowship and six Presidential Excellence Scholarships, all with full tuition, to those students participating in Honors Weekend.
