African American Graduate School Scholarships

According to the U.S Department of Education, African American students only comprised 13.1 percent of the total population within degree-granting institutions in 2007. The good news is that the percentage is rising every year, possibly due to the efforts of organizations founded on the principles of providing education funds to African American students. Many of these scholarships are designed specifically to award graduate students.
