The National Federation of the Blind offers more than 30 scholarships annually to legally blind students that attend its July national convention. Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes, be a full-time college student in a degree program or a part-time student working full-time (one of these awards is given) and participate in the entire July convention as well as scholarship activities. In addition to scholarship funds, students also receive assistance to attend the next year's convention.
