Scholarships for College Students With ADHD

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is an illness characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. When it comes time for college, which is mentally demanding, students with ADHD will have to learn how to adapt to rigorous courses. Find scholarships specifically for those with ADHD by first contacting the financial aid director of the college of choice. A large number of scholarships associated with learning disabilities can be found at the state and local levels, and many colleges or universities have close ties with members of the community or know how to contact agencies offering money.
