The Philanthropic Educational Organization International helps women with demonstrated financial need who were on an educational path that was interrupted by a baby, marriage, health or financial issues. Applicants must be citizens of the U.S. or Canada, have completed at least 24 credit hours in their educational careers, be sponsored by a local P.E.O. chapter, be within 24 consecutive months of reaching their educational goals and not be enrolled in a doctoral program. There is no age cap on this award.

The Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund focuses on giving women over 35 the financial means and confidence to attend a college or university. Applicants must be citizens of the U.S. and demonstrate financial need based on the Department of Labor's Lower Living Standard. They must be accepted to or attending a regionally or Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools- accredited college or university and be earning a technical or vocational education or an associate's or first bachelor's degree.

The Adult Students in Scholastic Transition Program, a scholarship program developed by Executive Women International, aims to help adult students in a transition in their lives by providing support to women with documented financial need. Applicants must clearly express their educational and career goals, be at least 18 years of age (there is no age cap), reside within the boundaries of the EWI chapters to which they apply, specify any special educational requirements that must be met to achieve their goals and seek help from re-entry programs at the schools they are attending.
