How to Find Jamaican Government Scholarships

The government of Jamaica sponsors several scholarships for people living in Jamaica. Many of them revolve around sports and technology. In particular, "The Gleaner" newspaper in Jamaica recently reported that 100 student athletes would be awarded scholarships from the Herb McKenley Scholarship Fund to attend the G.C. Foster College of Physical Education and Sports. This is being done in an effort to improve the general level of education in the country and to increase sports' importance as a sector of the Jamaican economy.
