The American Dietetic Association Foundation offers a number of scholarships to students who are pursuing a career as a certified clinical nutritionist. ADAF Scholarships are awarded in amounts ranging from $500 to $3,000. Most ADAF Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $1,000. Scholarships are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible, a student must be a member of the American Dietetic Association.

Textbook publisher Pearson Higher Education makes scholarship money available to nutrition majors through its Allied Health Student Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded in amounts of $500 and $1,000. To be eligible, a student must have taken a class in anatomy and physiology or microbiology within the last two years, and must submit his instructor's signature as proof. In addition to a completed application form, a student must also submit a one-to-two-page essay that details his three best study strategies for health-related courses. The annual deadline for application is Dec. 1.

ASN Fellowships are awarded in the amount of $5,000. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in an accredited graduate program and must be a member of the ASN. Eligible students must submit a completed application and a detailed research proposal of no more than four typed pages. The annual application deadline is Dec. 1.
