How to Cite a Dictionary Word in Your Notes

Any word, phrase or idea from a source that a writer includes in an article, paper, etc., needs to be cited. The source can include a lecture, textbook, web site, magazine, interview, etc. A mere word, when used from another source, must be cited. This can be carried out in MLA or APA form. It is always a wise decision to ask the professor or editor which style is preferred.
