How to Convert G to Lb

Grams are technically a measure of mass, while pounds are a unit of weight. Because gravity is constant on Earth, however, you can convert between the two units. For example, if you have a measurement from an international shipper in grams, but you want to use a unit that Americans would understand, you need to change from grams to pounds. When you know the conversion factors, you can use either multiplication or division to perform the operation.
