How to Make a Fraction Equal 0

Some numbers have a much greater power than others. Zero is a peculiar number, since it almost isn't one --- 0 represents a lack of an amount. Zero is harmless when added or subtracted to another number, leaving it completely unaffected, but when it is multiplied to the number, it overpowers and reduces it also to 0. By employing the 0's multiplicative power to any type of fraction, you can easily make the fraction equal 0.

Instructions

    • 1

Write down the fraction. For an example, allow the fraction to be 3/4.

    • 2

Multiply the numerator of the fraction by 0 --- 3 multiplied by 0 equals 0, since any number multiplied by 0 yields 0.

    • 3

Write the fraction as 0 over the original denominator --- the fraction becomes 0/4, which also equals 0 since any fraction that has a numerator of 0 is also equal to 0.
