Whether you are studying the letter "R" or recycling with your kindergarten students, making robots is a craft that the students will enjoy. Using tin cans and old pieces of metal hardware make this both an inexpensive and environmentally-friendly activity. If you alert the parents early enough they probably will be able to help you collect most of the supplies needed.
