Arizona Military Schools

The U.S. Armed Forces offers training programs at several Arizona universities and high schools. The Reserve Officers Training Corp, or ROTC is college-level program that grooms cadets to become officers in all branches of the military. ROTC programs generally offer students scholarships in exchange for active military service upon graduation. The Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) programs in high schools focus on developing leadership, self-reliance, teamwork and basic military skills. Students who successfully complete two- to four-year JROTC programs can enter the service at a higher rank if they enlist in military service or be eligible for ROTC scholarships.
