Classical Education Schools

A classical education school follows a three-part education system known as the trivium. The three parts of the trivium are the grammar stage, logic stage and rhetoric stage. The grammar stage occurs in the early elementary years and is comprised mostly of memorizing large amounts of facts. The logic stage begins around fifth grade. In this stage, the student begins to learn the "Why?" behind all of the facts he has previously memorized. The rhetoric stage begins around the ninth grade and has the student learning how to effectively express his knowledge through writing and speaking. As classical education becomes more popular, more classical education schools are being formed.
