Use the straight edge of your protractor to draw a line on your sheet of paper.
Place your protractor on the paper so that the straight line you drew is lined up with the straight edge of the protractor. Many protractors have eyelets to help you guide the placement.
Read the angles on the protractor from right to left, making sure you are looking at the set of numbers running from low to high. Using your pencil, mark the measurement of the angle you would like to draw.
Turn your protractor so that the straight edge is lined up with the left end of the straight line you drew and the mark you made. Draw a line connecting these two points. At this point, you have drawn your angle and can label it with the number of degrees.
Place your protractor on the worksheet so that the center of the straight edge is at the center of the angle. The bottom line of the angle you are measuring should be lined up with the straight edge of your protractor.
Read the protractor from right to left, making sure that you are looking at the set of numbers running from low to high. Trace with your finger where the top line of the angle meets the angle marks of the protractor. Read the protractor's measurement of the angle.
Write down the measured degrees of the angle on your worksheet.
