How to Store Peptides

Knowing how to store your peptides properly can make the difference between wasting the linked amino acids bonds and using them for products, such as skin cleansers and lotions. A buffer container is used to store the peptides because it has the ability to level the peptides and not destroy them. The peptides in the container won't become too dangerously basic or acidic, which is not good for cleaning your skin.

Things You'll Need

  • Buffer container with PH5 or PH6 level
  • Hot water
  • Mild dish soap
  • Sponge
  • Towel
  • Steamer
  • Rubber gloves
  • Freezer or freezing chamber

Instructions

    • 1

Scrub and wash the buffer container with hot water and mild dish soap. After the soap has been washed off, wipe the container dry with a clean towel.

    • 2

Focus the stream from the steamer over the buffer container and rubber gloves to help sterilize the two items. Do not rewipe the container or gloves with a clean towel, just leave them alone.

    • 3

Let the gloves cool down for 15 minutes, put them on, and then place the peptides into a sterilized buffer container. Put the buffer lid on the container immediately afterwards.

    • 4

Set your freezer or a freezing chamber to negative 4 degrees ("-4"), and then put the buffer container in the freezer.
