She may have suggestions on good distance-learning programs to enroll in or other options that may allow you to graduate by finishing school work at home. You can also find out state graduation requirements as well as laws surrounding home schooling.
Choose a program that you can complete at home. There are many independent study programs offered by colleges for high school students. There are also online high school programs that you can complete at home. These programs will give you credits to help you earn a diploma.
Contact the state education department and your current school to inform them of your choice to finish high school at home. This paperwork may take up to a month to go through. Additionally, be sure that you follow the laws in your sate surrounding home schooling.
Develop a plan that will allow you to graduate quickly. If you are enrolling in an independent high school program, you should make sure your previous credits will count towards graduation. You may also have to take a slightly different load if you missed a subject they covered in an earlier grade.
Complete the individual courses that you need in order to graduate. Depending on the program you chose you may be able to do one class at a time or you may have to take several at the same time.
