Go to a website that offers cursive worksheet customization tools such as KidZone, HandwritingWorkSheets.com or SEN Teacher.
Select a worksheet with pre-designed theme-based background images if available. A themed background can help a child focus on a practice lesson. For example, you might have a holiday theme such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, or a specific group theme such as animals, sports or fruits.
Enter letters (upper, lowercase or combination), words, phrases or paragraphs you want the child to practice into the supplied field or fields.
Make any edits the customization tool allows to the font, page orientation or practice lines. For example, you might edit font size and type, page layout or the color of the practice lines, dashes or text examples. If the tool allows you to personalize a worksheet for a specific child, enter the child's name or a phrase such as "Joe's Cursive Practice Worksheet" or "Sandra's Christmas Cursive Practice Words."
Print the worksheet(s) in the quantity you need. If the tool allows you to save a copy of the sheet to use again in the future, click the "Save" button or link on the website, name the file and save it to your computer or an external storage drive.
