Choose a location for the fighting cage. The cages have a diameter of 32 feet and require an open space.
Find or purchase a fight cage blueprint. The blueprint includes specific instructions as to how to construct the cage.
Form an octagon base using plywood. Cut the sides at 22.5 degrees.
Frame an octagon around the base using three-way connectors and steel pipes. You will use these pipes to connect the vertical pipes. Put old tires under the plywood, which reduces the impact during fighting.
Place the steel pipes vertically into the three-way connector at points of the octagon. Each pipe has a height of 7 feet. Place another three-way connector at the top of each pipe.
Insert 12-foot steel pipes horizontally at the top of each vertical pipe. Two people should work together for this task. One person hooks a pipe while the other holds it up.
Apply the fencing material around the outside of the octagon. Put and fix the foam padding along the inside of the cage. Put a thick mat on the top of the plywood.
