Gather all of your sources around you. If they are books, put them next to you on your desk and open them to the copyright page. If they are websites, bring them up on your computer.
Go to Easybib.com (see Resources). Help with MLA citing is free, while APA and Chicago/Turabian help costs only $8.99 a year.
From the drop-down menu near the top of the website, select the type of source you need help citing.
This will bring you to a page with several blank fields. Using the information from your sources, type in the information (such as author, title and publishing year) in all of the blanks. If you cannot find a certain piece of information, you may leave it blank.
Click the "Create citation" button and you will be brought to a new page on which your source has been cited properly. All that's left to do is copy it into the bibliography of your paper.
