How to Create a Cover Page Using MLA

MLA, or Modern Language Association, format is widely used for research papers in the humanities. MLA format is defined by the MLA Style Manual. Humanities students are often required to write papers in MLA format. While the MLA format doesn't usually include a cover page or title page, some professors will specifically ask for one. A cover page is the first page the reader sees when they pick up the paper, and it lists the paper's title, author and the course the paper was written for.
