Align the first line of your music CD citation with the left margin. Indent additional lines five to seven spaces or a half-inch to form a hanging indentation. Double-space the MLA style citation page.
Cite multiple authors by writing the first author's name last name first followed by the remaining authors first name first (Last, First, First Last, First Last.). If there are more than three authors, include the first author, last name first, then "et al" (Last, First, Et al.).
Cite a whole music CD. Italicize the album title. Include the artist only if different from the author. Include the recording date only if different from the copyright date (recording date format: Rec. 1971.). The label is the company or brand that markets the music CD.

Example:

The artist is excluded because he is the same person as the author. The recording date is excluded because it is the same as the copyright date.
Cite a song from a music CD. Italicize the album title. The recording medium is what the song is recorded on. In this case, it is a CD.
