How to Make a Title Page on a Science Project on Catapults

A title page gives your audience crucial information about who you are and the type of project that you will be presenting. The title page also will keep your science project report from getting lost or put into the wrong hands for class. Title pages add a clean, polished look to a science project involving catapults or other physics experiments. A title pages can be created with just a little forethought and creativity.

      Brainstorm a title for the report. For example, "The Velocity Produced by Catapults." Make sure the title clearly reflects what the science project is about and that it includes any major equipment or topics involved in the experiment. Keep the title fairly short at about 10 words.

      Format the title page using the project title. In a word processing document, center align your title near the middle of the page, or about 12 lines down from the top. Use 12 point, Times New Roman font, and capitalize the first letter in all the significant words in the title, as in the example used in Step 1.

      Type your name on the next line. On the next after that, write the teacher's name, if available. Below that should be name and number of your class. Finally, include the date the project will be turned in or presented.
