Type the last name and first name of the author separated by a comma. Insert a period after the first name.
Enter the book's title, followed by a period. Distinguish the title from other sections of the citation by italicizing or underlining the words.
Type the abbreviation "Trans." to indicate that a translator is included. Enter the name of the translator and end the section with a period.
Write the name of the city where the publisher is located, followed by a colon. Insert two spaces after the colon, then type the name of the publishing company. Enter a comma and write the year of publication.
Identify the type of publication being used, followed by a period. For example, a book would be cited as "Print."
