NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) offers three professional Certificate programs in financial risk management. The Certificate in Financial Risk Management is a foundation program that can be completed in nine months. After completion of this core Certificate, advanced Certificates in Financial Risk Management with specializations in either Banking and Financial Services or Industry and Service Companies can be pursued.
The Minnesota Safety Council offers a broad spectrum of classes that cover compliance and safety issues. Their classes are held in St. Paul as well as throughout the state. Their Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene class is one of four classes needed to acquire an advanced safety Certificate. Their Asbestos Awareness class meets a two-hour awareness training requirement for custodial and maintenance employees. They also offer customized on-site workshops.
The Regulatory Affairs Professional Society issues Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) specifically for regulatory professionals in the health care product industry. They offer training in U.S., Canadian and European regulatory processes for health care products. They also issue Certificates upon completion of each of their three exams. These exams are recommended for professionals with at least three years of experience in the health care regulatory industry.
George Mason University's Risk Management and Patient Safety Program trains health care professionals to effectively manage organizational risk. Regulatory requirements for health care organizations are studied as well as risk and survival analysis. A graduate level program, to enter prospective applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or its equivalent. 15 credits in total must be completed to earn the Certificate.
The school of Professional and Continuing Education at the University of Washington's Certificate in Information Security and Risk Management program trains students to protect and safely manage private company information from attack, using advised technologies and strategies. Participants learn ways to shield client data, employee information and proprietary content from organizational as well as external threats. This course is nine months long and can be fully completed online.
