California Driver Training Schools

Many aspiring drivers in California get their training at driver training schools. Teens must be at least 15-and-a-half-years old to get provisional driver's permit. Teens must also practice driving for 50 hours with an adult over 25 years old, take six hours of professional behind-the-wheel driver's training and complete driver's education. If you are over 18, you don't need a driver's education class. You need a permit to practice driving, and you must be accompanied by a licensed driver over 18 years old.
