Assemble all your equipment. Ensure your screwdriver matches the screw head to make screwing and unscrewing easy. Confirm that the screws fit the screw holes in the alarm clock. Pick multiple screws with different screw heads to use if you lose the ones originally installed on the clock.
Disassemble the alarm clock. Unscrew the different parts of the clock slowly using the screw driver. Lay out the different parts of the clock on a soft cloth. Place the screws in a safe location to avoid losing them. Make sure you lay the face on the clock with its back first. Check the clock's design, since clock designs vary from traditional clocks to contemporary and novelty designs.
Check the gears to ensure they are functioning. Fix the pendulum to the back of the gears. Fasten the screws to prevent loosening with time during its usage. Fix the bells carefully in their right positions beside the pendulum. Place the winding knobs in their slots ensuring you wind them till they fit well. Shake the knobs to affirm they are firmly placed to only allow winding and unwinding. Fix the frame on top of the inner parts of the alarm clock. Ensure the frame allows the winding knobs to move freely and be careful not to loosen them.
Insert a battery on its slot to confirm that the alarm clock works. Set the time and wait for the clock to ring. Ensure the ringing is clear; if not, check the pendulum's position. Make adjustments where necessary and use your alarm clock. Use a different alarm clock to practice the procedure in order to increase your expertise.
