Trade Schools for Male Modeling

You don't need educational qualifications to become a male model, but going to modeling school can give you the edge over your competitors. Classes include learning to walk on the runway, posing for photographs, social skills, grooming and, most importantly, handling auditions. Good modeling schools also have contacts in the industry and can guide newcomers through the minefield of signing up with an agency. Enroll in modeling school only if you enjoy having your picture taken, have a good body and are taller than 5-foot-9.

Students also take personal development courses that prove useful even if they decide not to follow a career in modeling. Tuition fees vary, so students should contact the school they wish to attend. Many schools have an in-house modeling agency and will help graduates find jobs.
