How to Cut & Paste From an Adobe Acrobat Document

Adobe created the portable document format (PDF) as an attempt to ensure that documents saved as PDF files remained in their original state. Therefore, when working inside Adobe Acrobat, the program most commonly used for editing PDF files, you will see that the cut feature is grayed out unless you are the current author of the content and have not saved the final document. You can, however, copy and paste recognizable text from Acrobat. In addition, Acrobat has a feature called Snapshot that allows you to copy an image of part of the PDF document.
